Hooray! I won an Acer notebook computer (and a Kaspersky Internet Security pack for a year) from a blog ‘k’arnival in Malaysia sponsored by Kaspersky. I’ve always wanted a notebook computer.
The computer I used before (some sort of a cross between a notebook and a desktop) was too inconvenient and the screen was too small (800px x 600px). That was why I badly wanted a notebook computer.

If you’ve read my blog post yesterday, you would know that I was attending the blog 411 session at the blog carnival, where famous Malaysian bloggers share their tips and experience on blogging.
There were two contests there: The K.O. Quiz contest, and the live blogging contest. The grand prize for each of the contests is an Acer notebook computer. To be honest, I wrote yesterday’s post because I participated in the live blogging contest, but I didn’t win probably because I am good at writing tips, not events.
So, I entered the quiz contest, in which you would be asked questions on blogging, Internet security, etc. Here are some pictures of me participating in the K.O. quiz contest. (Thanks to Niki Cheong for taking these photos below.)

And… to my surprise, I was the winner! I felt very touched because I’ve never won 1st place in a contest like this before. I just couldn’t believe it!
First of all, I want to thank my parents for taking me to the blog carnival. I also want to thank all the people there in the carnival for supporting me. Lastly, I want to thank my blog readers for encouraging me to blog. Thank you very much! 
Now, with this notebook computer, I’ll enjoy blogging more! I’m looking forward to writing more quality blog posts for you, so, please stay tuned!

I bought it during last PC Fair, with added 2GB DDR3 RAM (they free for me ^^)
Oh. Mine is ASPIRE 4937. One thing I don’t like about it is the Acer Arcade Deluxe button on the right. I always touch it when I type and it opens unexpectedly. But overall, I agree its pretty cool

i was once irritated by the Acer Arcade Deluxe software too, whereby when i insert a CD/VCD/DVD, by default, it will automatically choose Acer Arcade Deluxe as my media station, whereby i hope it does not!(as i wanted to use others’ software to play :/ )
You may try this: go to “Control Panel”, under “Auto Play” option, you will see a list of media, whereby it had preset “what will i do when a media is detected…”.
All you need to do is: either choose “ask me every time” (for me), or you can simply press “Reset all defaults”, and there you go!Arcade Deluxe will only appear when you choose to activate it

By the way, i am quite curious where did you learn these computer skill (namely setup a blog, hosting, drive traffic, etc). Quite impress, as i am just a newbie in this field
