I don't really know how u can differentiate b/w good and bad comment....but i see the comment comment is that in which comment is related to the topic which moderator has created and it uses some feed back..

Short words comments are sometimes considered as spam, well I'm not too agree with this. You see, if someone thinks "Nice" in the comments box as spam, I guess he / she are too much proud of himself / herself. He / she forgot that the quality of the article defines the comments given, if the article is so touching, I guess people will say more than two words in the comments. If the article is lame, so are the comments. I'd like to suggest people to appreciate comments more, even a punk writing spam comments also takes time.

I'm commenting about a post on commenting. How cool is that? :)

I view commenting as a continuation of the blog post itself. It can either add or dispute the post, or answer a question. You know how in a forum thread can contain hundred of posts which ends up being a conversation between many people? That what I view the comment sections as, a continuing conversation.

I do alot of posting on t-shirt blogs, and blogs in general - especially if those blogs talk about t-shirts. Many times a blogger will blog about the t-shirts they just bought. I will make a comment and invite them to check out my website. Or sometimes an individual will have a design up for voting on Threadless or DBH, and if I like the design, I will compliment it and link back to my site. I have made thousands of such comments, and only ONCE - one time - did a guy write to me and say "Stop spamming my site." lol he was pissed. Overall, I love visiting the millions of blogs out there and seeing what people have to say, and by making comments, I have been able to generate some sales.
