3 Steps to Becoming a Better Writer

1. Write

The most important step to becoming a better writer – writing! The more you write, the more you experience, and the better writer you will be. Write, write, and write.

2. Read

To be fluent in the language, you must read. If you read, you will get used to the style of the language. If you read a lot, and discover a grammar mistake, you are sure to notices it, right?

My writing used to be very poor. But how did I improve? I read. I read books, blogs, and articles. One day, I realized my writing was better than before.

When you read, you would improve without you actually realizing.

3. Get rid of the fear

Fear – the four-letter word that keeps us from writing. But why do we have fear? It is because we are afraid we would fail. We are afraid people would disagree with us. We are afraid we would make mistakes.

Did you realize that failure is actually a step to succeeding? If we never try, we never know what would work. If we make mistakes, we learn, and become better.

If we make mistakes, we learn, and become a better writer.

Oh, and to summarize it,
Write, read, and get rid of the fear. Eventually, you will be a better writer than you were before.

So true, the more we write the more experienced we become in writing flawlessly. Even the noted writers I believe, practiced a lot of writing. Writers usually are filled with the passion to write but besides passion its equally important to write keeping in mind both the British and American readers.
